Now you can view the weather right here in Carlisle County. Our Davis Pro2 Advantage Weather Center is uploading data ever 15 minutes to NOAA via the APRS Weather Net 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

In conjunction with collecting weather data we are also capable of detecting and tracking severe weather prior to it arriving in our county via third party Doppler and Nexrad Radar Software.

By tracking severe weather prior to it arriving in our county we are able to deploy our trained weather spotters sooner. This advanced deployment allows our trained spotters a greater opportunity to detect severe weather conditions which enables us to notify the NWS sooner. Early activation of our spotters means faster warning information for our citizens
