 "Carlisle County Recieves StormReady Accreditation" 

   A community must achieve a specific level of hazardous weather operations readiness in order to be accredited as StormReady. The Carlisle County accreditation is the 15th in the 58 county, four state area served by the Paducah Weather Service Forecast Office and only the 8th in Western Kentucky.

Below is a list of current services or operations provided by the Carlisle County Rescue Squad.

* 24 Hour A Day Emergency Telephone Emergency Broadcast System
(Notifying 2,000 telephone customers of tornado warnings)
* Weather Data Collection via Davis Vantage Pro2 Weather Station
* Uploaded Weather Data to C.W.O.P and Meteorological Data Ingest System
* Doppler Radar Software, GR-Analyst and Radar Lab HD
* Department Owned and Operated Satellite Radio and Satellite Telephone Communications
